  • hacker: x hacker, can do magical things with laptops and displays, as well as input in particular
  • admin: main fd.o admin, using the same ldap-based system as debian.org and ubuntu.com machines, managing a few debian-based machines
  • local: unimelb alumnus (only another 17 semesters left!), fitzroy lurker

Timezone: EET (UTC+2, i.e. 9h behind the east coast when Australia has daylight savings, otherwise 7h)

Can do anything that doesn't require interactivity. Happiest helping out on the admin team, paper review team (have previously been on the aKademy paper review team), and general conference helper-outerer.

Currently working for Nokia as an X hacker for the N800. Previously worked for Canonical (as the Ubuntu X maintainer), and Trinity College at Melbourne Uni (as a random hacker). Have been involved with various stages with fd.o, X.Org Foundation (current board member), X.Org (hacker), Debian (maintaining X, KDE, apache2, D-BUS, others), Ubuntu (maintaining X, D-BUS, others), KDE (hacking Kopete), and a couple of other projects; currently only involved with fd.o, X.Org, and X.Org Foundation.

Planning to be in Melbourne at least a week before the conference starts, and for a couple of weeks after it ends.
